Welcome to 5lab the website dedicated to blogs and blogging. We want you to add you blogs, your stories and your experiences for others to enjoy. It really easy to get started just mention a few things about yourself, but make sure the information is not to personal like you address, date of birth or a phone number. We advise you keep personal information of you blogs as they can be often seen by many people.
To get started just add notes for each day choosing to add pictures and videos as well if you want, its very much like you own diary. The history of blogging might be separated into the periods. Before the millionaires and the famous decided to get in on the blogging craze, bloggers operated in low society. These people hate the media tabloids, new reality television and all the rubbish that goes with it. Bloggers were originally seen as geeks, moaning from their homes late into the night with a cup of coco on there Apple computers. So when, in 2005, the more famous and popular members of society decided to start blogging so cought on the idea. Now with the rise of My Space and Facebook everyone has there own blog and don’t mind telling the world exactly what they think about current people and events. This is where blogs can be dangerous.
There is so many ways to share information now it very hard to keep anything secret or low key. One such unfortunate lady in the U.S decided to publish she was planning a party at her home and imagine her horror when 300 people turned up. Her home was wrecked and she didn’t even know half of the people that showed up. This sort of occurrence would have been impossible a few years ago. MP’s and so called do-gooders are quick to raise there arms condemning these sites calling them dangerous for allowing people, especially young people to publish videos and pictures, stating it encourages them to try and take things to a more dangerous and risky level. Blogging is big business and is only going to get bigger with new technologies improving the way we send information all the time.
The rich and famous have taken to using a weekly blog, informing us about there weekly gossip and the public cannot get enough of it. With the media broadcasting every tiny bit of gossip on a daily basis this is what people what to read. If you in the pubic eye for reasons bad or good it means your being noticed, all publicity is good publicity.
